Job description
A Business Development job involves identifying and creating opportunities to grow a company's revenue and market share by developing strategic plans, building client and partner relationships, researching market trends, generating new business leads, and negotiating contracts. Key duties include analyzing markets, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, managing client accounts, creating proposals, and ensuring the achievement of sales and growth objectives.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct research to identify new market opportunities, understand consumer behavior, and monitor competitor activities to gain an increased market share.
 
Strategy Development:
Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth, including sales and marketing initiatives.
 
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
Prospect new clients, generate leads, nurture relationships with potential customers, and convert leads into new business.
 
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with existing clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
 
Sales & Negotiation:
Drive the sales process from initial contact through strategy, proposal development, and the successful closing of new business deals.
 
Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, and management teams to align strategies and achieve company goals.
 
Forecasting & Performance Monitoring:
Forecast sales revenue, monitor progress towards established budgets and growth goals, and use financial techniques to improve sales.
